PHNOM PENH, Oct. 25 -- Hungarian President Janos Ader will pay the first state visit to Cambodia on Oct. 27-30 at the invitation of the country's King, Norodom Sihamoni, according to a Cambodian foreign ministry's statement on Friday.
During the visit, Ader will have a royal audience with Sihamoni at the Royal Palace, the statement said.
Then, the Hungarian president will have a meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, during which various fields of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of common interest will be discussed, it said.
"The President's first visit to Cambodia will mark an important milestone in Cambodia-Hungary bilateral relations," the statement said.
It added that the visit will further reinforce the long-standing bonds of friendship and solidarity as well as the increase in scope and depth of cooperation between the two countries.
During his stay in Cambodia, Ader will also visit temples in the Angkor Archeological Park and some landmarks in northwestern Siem Reap province, the statement said.
