HOHHOT, July 27 -- The 13th Tour of Duolun Lake concluded on Saturday in Duolun County in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with Qiang Ba of Panda Cycling Team taking victory.
The two-day tour covered a total distance of 171.3 kilometers, including a 91-kilometer race around Duolun Lake and an 80.3-kilometer race around Duolun County.
Qiang took the first stage in a time of 2:07:37, with Redlighting Team's riders Bolorerdene and Biguunjargal coming in second and third.
Qiang also won the Tour's second stage, finishing in 1:48:19 to claimed the overall win.
"This is the fourth time I have participated in the race and the first time I have won. The hot weather and complicated racing line was a great challenge, but I overcame all the difficulties," said Qiang.
The 13th running of the Tour of Duolun Lake attracted over 140 riders from 22 teams from both China and Mongolia.
