MOSCOW, Aug. 15 -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his German counterpart Heiko Maas will discuss the situation in Ukraine, Syria and Iran here next Wednesday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Thursday.
"There will be an in-depth exchange of views on the most pressing international problems, including the situation in Ukraine, Syria and Iran, as well as on the issues of global stability and strategic security," Zakharova told a news briefing.
Lavrov and Maas will also discuss key issues in Russia-Germany relations and coordinate the timetables of future contacts, she said.
They will pay special attention to bilateral cooperation in the scientific, educational, cultural, humanitarian, trade and economic spheres, Zakharova added.
