BEIJING, June 29 -- China's top political advisor Wang Yang met here Friday with Kim Wan Su, chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for National Reunification of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), expressed the willingness to expand exchanges with the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for National Reunification of the DPRK to contribute to safeguarding, cementing and developing China-DPRK ties.
Wang said the two countries should take the consensus reached by the two leaders as a guidance to deepen high-level political communication, while working to organize commemorative events to mark the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties, promoting pragmatic cooperation and enhancing people-to-people exchanges.
Kim Wan Su said the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for National Reunification of the DPRK is ready to advance cooperation and exchanges with the CPPCC, so as to promote the state-to-state ties.
