招聘会上的“性别歧视”

近日，北京地区首场大规模招聘会在国展老馆举行。虽然主办方已经要求招聘单位不得提出有关性别和民族等歧视要求，但仍有单位明确表明某些职位“只招男士”。

Employers continued to use discriminatory job advertisements at a major Beijing recruitment fair on Sunday, flying in the face of labor authorities' attempts to eliminate the hiring bias.

上周日，北京一场大规模招聘会上，招聘方仍然在招聘广告中提出歧视性要求，公然违反劳动部门消除招聘过程中歧视行为的要求。

Recruitment fair就是“招聘会”，也叫job fair，招聘方为employer，应聘方则为candidate，被录用成为员工才是employee。

这里的fly in the face就是“公然违抗，违背”的意思，比如：You can't fly in the face of business rules and expect to be successful. 找工作时遭遇gender bias/discrimination
