中共中央纪律检查委员会秘书长崔少鹏9日向媒体通报2017年查办案件工作情况，透露去年各级纪检监察机关共立案受理15万5千余件违纪案件中，超四成案件线索 请看相关报道：

中共中央纪律检查部门去年共处分16万余人，比上年增加了12.5%。反腐调查人员成功挽回经济损失78.3亿元。
2017年的反腐案件调查（anti-graft investigation）中，有很多高官（senior official）落马（fall from grace）。县级以上领导干部（higher than county-level officials）有近4700人被处分，其中960多人被移送司法机关（transferred to judicial authorities）。四成以上查办案件线索 纪检监察机关对于涉及征地拆迁（land expropriation and house removal）、向农民出售劣质农药（selling inferior fertilizer to farmers）、经适房分配不公（unfairly distributing affordable housing）等发生在群众身边的违纪违法案件也加大了查处力度。
