各地抓“火灾防控”

进入2013年以来，杭州、上海、黑龙江等地商场或市场发生火灾，导致人员伤亡、财产损失。各地消防部门提醒大家提高用火安全意识，消除隐藏在生活中的火灾隐患。

Firefighting authorities are urging people to pay attention to fire prevention in winter, as several fires broke out around the country recently, claiming lives and causing economic losses.

因近日全国多地发生火灾，导致人员死亡和经济损失，消防部门提醒人们注意冬季防火。

Fire prevention（防火）的主要是follow rules on fire safety（遵守用火安全规定），发现并排除fire hazards（火灾隐患），raise awareness of fire control and prevention（提高火灾防控意识），以及improve fire rescue mechanisms（改进火灾救援机制）。

冬季气候干燥很容易发生火灾。现在居民楼中一般都会设有fire alarm（火警报警器），装有电梯的高楼内还会有fire escape（安全出口），居民家中有些还备了fire extinguisher（灭火器）。为了加强民众的消防意识，消防部门有时还会进行fire drill（消防演习）。
