The central military leading organ of the Communist Party of China is the Central Military Commission.

The Central Military Commission (CMC) is the highest military leading organ of the PRC. It directs the armed forces of the country. The CMC is composed of the chairman, vice chairmen and members.

Members of the Central Military Commission of the Party are decided on by the Central Committee.

中共中央军事委员会简称“中央军委”，是党的最高军事领导机构。
