“裸”字本来就是个常用字，是“露出”、“没有遮盖”的意思，英文是naked。“赤裸裸”往往用于比喻，如“赤裸裸的骗子”，英语说a swindler thorough and thorough。汉语“赤膊” 西方的嬉皮士喜欢“裸奔” 裸婚：
裸婚决不是搞naked wedding之意，而是不办婚礼，不穿婚纱，不戴戒指，不请客，不买房，也不搞什么蜜月旅行，只是领个结婚证，即get married without any ceremony, dinner party, or honeymoon travel。
裸博：
裸博指从小学念到博士没有任何工作或社会实践经验的博士 裸官：
这些年，中国出了许多“裸官”，当然不是说他们不穿衣服，而是指一些贪官把存款、妻儿都安排到国外。英语大概没有类似的说法， 裸退：
国务院原副总理吴仪2007年提出要“裸退”，即退休后不担任官方、半官方乃至企业、民间机构或群众组织的任何职务，连顾问等名誉职务也不担任，英语只能说thoroughly retire and refuse to accept any post or title。
