　　Remembering names is an important social skill. Here are some ways to master it.

　　If a city wishes to host the Olympics, it must submit a proposal(提交提案) to the IOC. After all proposals have been submitted, the IOC votes. 　　Health experts are calling for action to increase cancer care and control in the developing world. A medical research paper says cancer was once thought of as a problem mostly in the developed world. But now cancer is a leading cause of death and disability in poor countries as well. 　　Food for astronauts has always been a problem. US scientists hope to grow vegetables in mini-greenhouses on the Moon in order to provide astronauts with fresh vegetables in the future.

　　The plan is to send a small greenhouse into space in 2017. The greenhouse will contain cabbage seeds. Since this kind of vegetable can go from seed to flower in just 14 days, it can complete its life cycle in just one night on the Moon.

　　The Moon greenhouse plan has been compared to an experiment at the South Pole. The South Pole greenhouse, now in its fifth year, allows workers living in the coldest place on Earth to have tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries and herbs.

　　“Living on the Moon seems so far away, but it is important that we do this research now,” said Jane Poynter, the president of Paragon, a company that works with NASA.
