The Brasiliense soccer team announced on Thursday Andrade as their new head coach.
Andrade led Flamengo to win the 2009 Brazilian Championship and is now seen as the key to keep Brasiliense from falling into the third division of the tournament.
Recently, Andrade made a public statement demonstrating his frustration from being fired from Flamengo. Drawn to tears, the coach claimed that he did not understand what he did wrong in order to be released.
First division team Avai and second division team Ipatinga-MG showed their interest in the coach, but it was the team from the nation's capital that was first to act.
Andrade will be the fifth coach this year at Brasiliense. He will coach his first game as his new club on September 25 against Figueirense.
Currently, Brasiliense stand in sixteenth place with 27 points in the second division (Serie B) just one spot out of the danger zone of being lowered into the third division (Serie C) of the 2011 Brazilian Championship at the end of this year's tournament.
