Fluminense beat Madureira 1-0 on Sunday in the last round of the first half of the Rio de Janeiro state championship and will face Boavista in the semifinals.
The game's only goal came in the 74th minute through Rafael Moura. Dario Conca delivered a stopped ball towards the front of the Madureira goal, before Moura headed it into the lower right side of the goal.
The goal was Moura's fifth header since his return to the team.
As the leader of Group B, Fluminense will face the second place team of Group A, Boavista.
The single round elimination match is scheduled for February 20. The other semifinals match will feature Botafogo and Flamengo on the same date.
