Brazil beat Angola 89-59 on Sunday to win the title of the Super Four, a four-team friendly tournament in preparation for the 2010 World Basketball Championships.
Leandro Barbosa, Brazil's newest member of the NBA team Toronto Raptures, led the team with 15 points. He was followed by Marcelinho Machado with 13 points, Marquinhos with 11 points and reserve forward Hatila with 8 points.
Brazil's star forward and member of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, Anderson Varejao, had an important role in Sunday's win. With a hot start in the first quarter, the forward ended with 11 points and demonstrated that his lower back problems are no longer bothering him.
Both Nene and Tiago Splitter missed Sunday's game due to injuries.
