Manchester United overcame Chelsea 3-1 to win the FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Antonio Valencia opened the score for the "Red Devils" by sending home Wayne Rooney's pass after 41 minutes.

Javier Hernandez gave United a 2-0 lead with a 76-minute goal before Chelsea narrowed the gap to 2-1 through efforts from Salomon Kalou with seven minutes remaining.

But Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov's injury-time goal sealed victory for Man United, who were beaten by the Blues on penalties after a 2-2 draw in the competition last year.
