The New Jersey Nets' Terrence Williams and the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry have been named the Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month, respectively, for games played in April.
Williams ranked first among Eastern Conference rookies in scoring (14.3 points per game) and minutes per game (34.3). He also ranked second in rebounds (7.1), assists (6.3) and free-throw percentage (88.9). In addition, Williams averaged a triple-double (20.7 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists) at home.

Among Western Conference rookies, Curry ranked first in scoring (26.4 per game), first in assists (8.1) and first in steals (2.63 spg). He also ranked second in free-throw percentage (89.5 percent) , third in rebounds (6.4), third in 3-point percentage (47.2) and was tied for first in double-doubles with three.
On April 14, Curry registered 42 points, nine rebounds and eight assists at Portland, becoming the first rookie to reach all those totals in the same game since Oscar Robertson did so in 1961.
