Atletico Madrid's Argentinean striker Kun Aguero insisted on Friday that he was happy at the club but refused to rule out a move at the end of the season. Aguero's excellent form, coupled with a relatively low buy-out clause and Atletico's erratic performances this campaign, had provoked speculation that he could be seeking a move to a bigger club.
The young striker shrugged off rumors that he was discontented with life at the Vicente Calderon Stadium, where he is the undoubted star.
"At the moment, I am happy at the club. I think about the good of Atletico and as I have said before, when I am not happy here, I will say it."
"We will talk to the club and if they decide that I will go, then I will go and if not, then I will stay," said Aguero during the Friday press conference, printed on the club's official website.
However, he would not go as far as ruling out a possible move at the end of the campaign. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid as well as Inter Milan and various English clubs have all been put forward as possible destinations.
"There were rumors like this last year and interest from several clubs such as Real Madrid. However, I said 'no'. Nobody has said anything to me this year, but if there is anyone interested, it will be me who decides," said Aguero.
