Tips:先列提纲,全文框架得先有。尤其拖延症症和完美主义倾向严重,会不自主想斟酌用词的同学,不然极有可能写不完。
千万看好写作要求,issue关键在于能自圆其说,所以逻辑严密很重要,说理结合例证最好,晓理动情(单靠举例子不好,个例不能草率推广)。推荐看辩论类节目,逻辑培养和写作都是长远之事,不只为了考试。
Argument: The following recommendation appeared in a memo from the mayor of thetown of Hopewell.
"Two years ago, the nearby town of Ocean View built a new municipal golf course andresort hotel. During the past two years, tourism in Ocean View has increased, new businesseshave opened there, and Ocean View's tax revenues have risen by 30 percent. Tips:建议把逻辑错误写成环环相扣,不要看到一条逻辑错误写一条,会显得很散。具体平时画逻辑链时,可以每看到作者提供一些条件或例子时就思考他得到的最直接的结论(通常不会明说),进而分析条件或例子是否真能得到那个结论,以及有无他因。思路来自听了万炜老师5小时写作课录音的总结思考,膜拜下万神。。
Analysis:
1. 旅游业增长,新店开张,税收增长 → economy in Ocean View(OV 以括号形式注明后,之后文章引用可以直接缩写)has improved (暗含推论)
假设:旅游业增长足够大可以影响经济;老公司相比新开的没有倒闭得更多;税率没有过分提高
反驳:旅游业增长不多(如只增了0.1%)并且旅游业本身只在当地经济产业结构占比很小(如0.05%);老公司倒得更厉害;税率大幅度提高
2. OV建了宾馆和球场之后经济发展 → OV是因为建了宾馆和球场才发展 Even if the economy in OVhas improved, it does not necessarily entail that….
假设:no other cause can equally explain this phenomenon
反驳:修了路架了桥(来了更多人);国家给了很多新兴企业财政
3. OV因为建了宾馆和球场才发展 → HW建了宾馆和球场能发展
假设:两城的产业结构相似;HW原来没有宾馆和球场。
反驳:OV是旅游城市,建了之后能大幅吸引游客;HW是内陆偏僻城市,没有知名景点,还污染严重,怎么建都不会有游客来。
Finally: 一定要提高打字速度,左右除食指外每个手指负责右斜三个键,食指负责六个。
了解清楚各个分工,每天没事就26个字母按顺序敲。
