中国民间故事传说：郑人争年龄大小

Two people from the state of Zheng were arguing with each other about who was older. One of them said, "I am as old as Emperor Yao." The other one said, "I am the same age with Emperor Huang's elder brother." None of them would give in and what they said became more and more absurd(荒诞的). In the end, one of them was too tired to carry on and stopped first. Seeing his opponent stopped arguing, the other one thought that he won, and became high spirited and vigorous at once。

两个郑国人争在为谁年龄大而争吵不休。一个说：“我和尧同岁。”另一个则说：“我和黄帝的哥哥同岁。”两人互不相让，话也说得越来越离奇。末了，其中一个没有力气再吵下去，便先停了下来。剩下的那一位见对手不再吱声，认为自己赢了，顿时神采飞扬，意气风发。
