听广播入迷的“车道效应”

　　很多人开车时都习惯开着收音机，一方面可以随时了解路况资讯，同时也为了让开车的路途不太冷清。不过，你有没有开车时听到一档广播节目特别吸引人，以至于你都到家了还不愿意下车，想听完节目再下车这样的经历呢？

　　Driveway effect describes a special quality exhibited by a radio program that causes listeners to stay in their cars s in their driveways long after they have arrived home so they can hear the end of the program.

　　Driveway effect（车道效应）指一档广播节目魅力如此之大，以至于人们开车到家以后还不舍得下车，而是把车停在自家门前车道，然后待在车里一直听到节目结束。

　　A specific instance of the driveway effect is often called a driveway moment. NPR listeners often have "driveway moments": they are so engrossed in a story or discussion that they can't get out of the car until there's a break. 　　车道效应的某一个特定时刻可以称之为driveway moment（车道时刻）。美国国家公共电台的听众们就经常会有“车道时刻”：他们收听一个故事或讨论时太着迷了，直到节目中间休息的时候他们才舍得下车。如果有人跟说起这样的时刻，你就会觉得遇上了知音。
