　　64. 　　解释：本句的两个插入语虽然有一些干扰性，但是最为主要的难点在于成批出现的抽象词，如interpretation/necessarily/stiffen/thesis/rigidity/recalcitrant/element/undeniable/power/ultimately/resist/inclusion/all-encompassing等。据笔者估测，对于初学GRE或GMAT的学习者而言，在一句话中出现了三个心上的抽象词就会使阅读理解造成障碍，而这句话中出现了十三个这样的单词，读不懂也不足为怪。
