　　The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC国家发展和改革委员会) announced on Monday evening that China will increase gasoline and diesel prices by 600 yuan per tonne beginning Tuesday. After the adjustment, the national average of 90# gasoline and 0# diesel oil will increase by 0.44 yuan and 0.51 yuan per liter respectively. Bei Jing, for instance, after this adjustment, the price of 93# gasoline has reached to 8.33 yuan per liter.

　　国家发展和改革委员会周一晚间宣布,中国将提高汽油和柴油价格到每吨600元，周二开始实施。调整后,平均全国90号汽油和0号柴油将分别增加为0.44元和0.51元每升。比如说北京，这个调整后93 #汽油的价格已达到每升8.33元。

　　The decision to raise the prices came after international crude oil prices climbed more than 10 percent since Feb.8, when the retail prices of both gas and diesel was raised by 300 yuan per tonne each. However, more and more people complain that they can not afford such high oil prices and they have to switch to public transportation. In one word, the raising oil prices will influence on peoples life to a certain extent.

　　提高价格的决定是在,自2月8日,国际原油价格上涨超过10%，两种汽油和柴油的零售价格上调到300元每吨后才决定的。然而,越来越多的人抱怨他们不能负担如此高的石油价格,以至于他们必须转乘到公共交通。总之,提高油价会在某种程度上影响人们的生活。
