　　Ms. Li, our English teacher, must have found it strange on Teachers Day: she did not receive a single greeting card from us students. She would have never thought a complete surprise was waiting for her.

　　Before Teachers Day, we planned to hold an unusual party which could give Ms. Li an unforgettable surprise. Everyone would like to do something to celebrate the important day. Some girls cleaned the classroom, others put up colorful balloons and ribbons on the ceilings and wall. I wrote Happy Teachers Day! on the blackboard, using my beautiful handwriting.

　　On Teachers Day, when Ms. Li came in, all of us stood up, saying Happy Teachers Day! to her. Our monitor gave her a bouquet of flowers and hugged her. Then, we sang and danced for Ms. Li. At last, Ms. Li presented her singing talent. Each of us, together with Ms. Li, had a ball that day.

　　I think it meaningful to hold a party like this. Only in this way can we express our thanks and appreciation for all her hard work and her sparing no efforts to teach and guide us.
