　　Ms. Li, our English teacher, must have found it strange on Teachers Day: she did not receive a single greeting card from us students. She would have never thought a complete surprise was waiting for her.

　　The evening before Teachers Day, we cleaned up our classroom and decorated ceilings with colorful balloons and paper flowers. Some girls brought some drinks and fruits from their homes. On the blackboard were beautiful words Happy Teachers Day!

　　On the morning of September 10, with kind of disappointed, Ms. Li walked into the classroom, she was very surprised to see us all standing there to say Happy Teachers Day! loudly to welcome her. Our monitor presented her with a bunch of flowers. One girl on behalf of us sang some English songs, I recited an English poem. Some boys even danced together with Ms. Li.

　　We as well as Ms. Li had a great time that day, but we know that we cannot thank her enough for all her hard work and guidance.
