　　About Myself

　　My name is Li Hua. I was born in the city of Dalian, Liaoning Province. I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. Then I entered NO. 6 Middle School where I mainly learned the subjects like Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry and computer. I have been very fond of and good at English and computer ever since. Therefore I placed first in the school computer competition last year. My hobbies include swimming in summer, skating in winter as well as collecting stamps and listening to popular music in my spare time.

　　1)本文是根据1996年高考英语书面表达题写成的，属介绍说明文中的自我介绍。所谓介绍说明，是指对所要说明的对象作概括扼要而又比较全面的介绍，所以介绍说明又称概说。这种文体很有用处，比如正式求职信或自荐信的第二段介绍个人履历时就经常这样写，在应聘或投考时的面试(interview)中也要作这样的口头表述。

　　2)个人简历这样的介绍说明文要按照时间顺序(time order)安排文章结构。所以，在文章中多用像from 1984 to 1990，then，ever since等这样的表示时间顺序的衔接词语(cohesive words/transitional words)达到文章在连贯(coherence)。虽然文章在整体上是以时间顺序写的，但也不排除使用其他逻辑关系的衔接词语。例如，本文倒数第二句开头用的就是表因果关系的衔接词therefore。这样，就把由于I have been fond of and good at English and computer.，因此I placed first in the school computer competition last year.之间的因果关系表达出来了。所以，在安排文章的结构时，说明顺序词语的运用应根据具体情况灵活掌握，不能死搬硬套
