　　Television presents a vivid world in front of us. We can bring the theater, art, con certs, and sports events into our homes when we might otherwise never be able to see them. Television brings the world to people who cannot travel.

　　Television can abe play an educational role in our daily life. Not only can we hear and see news as it happens, we can actually observe the paces and the people involved. Also people are able to take college courses by television. We are more knowledgeable of the whole world because of television.

　　However, television can also be harmful. Many of the programs now available show violence and scenes which are harmful to young people. Some students watch television instead of studying and doing exercise. Even though TV can educate and bring the world to us, we must carefully select the programs to watch.
