名师：从中考完形题还原other的辨析考点

　　在2010年天津市中考英语题完形填空题型中的第46题涉及多年来的一个知识重难点。原文及选项如下：

　　对于大部分同学这道题并不难，但是在我们平时学习中，围绕着other及相关辨析词设计的考题相当多，实属中考英语的重难点。很多同学由于掌握的知识不够全面，理解不够清楚而丢分。下面从辨析考题的角度以点带题，以题衬点进行分析：

　　I. the other；another；(the)others

　　other后加名词单数时，前面必须有the，指两者中另一个，由于是特指，又是单数，需要限定词，因此the other后加名词单数特指两者中另一个(单数名词常省略)，常用搭配为：One，the other(前提语境表明两者)。然而other后加名词复数时，根据语境，如果有明确的范围就用the other+名词复数(可以省略成the others)；如果没有明确的范围，即从广义上说的，那么就用other+名词复数(可以省略成others)，常用搭配为：Some，others(如中考完形第46题)。Another+名词单数，指三者或三者以上中另一个。
