红色

　　one the new years eve, i invited a few friends over for dinner. i cooked one of the best meals ever, and i made a special effort to include as many things possible that were red. the plates were red. the glasses were red.there were red peppers, red meat. there was red wine and red candles and red napkins and red flowers scattered all around the table. there was even cherry pie, for dessert.two beautiful red lanterns were hanging in the livingroom. my mom had prepared many red envelopes for good luck money. all of us, adults, children were dressed in red. and we all had rosy red cheeks.

　　red is a color of celebration. red is a color of love and friendship. red is a color of victory.red is a color of th good fortunes for the coming new year.red gives us hope and courage to face all the hardships on our life journey.by appreciating color red, we are thankful for all the good things we have.
