　　I would like to tell you something that took place in my school yesterday. In the afternoon the school held a growing-up ceremony for our coming 18-year-old birthday. At the begi ing we made an oath that as grown-u we should have a se e of re o ibility for our society. Next we expre ed our thands to our parents who brought us up and to our teachers for their education. Then our teachers gave us cards with good wishes. Finally, we had wonderful performances. I learned a lot from the activity. I am sure the ceremony is very important for us. From then on we will know our re o ibilities as grown-u .

　　我想告诉你昨天在我校发生的事情。昨天下午学校为我们即将到来的18岁生日举行了成人仪式。开始我们宣誓说，作为成年人我们应当有社会责任感。接下来我们向父母和老师表达谢意，感谢他们的养育和培养。然后老师们给我们赠送了贺卡，表示祝福。最后我们进行了出色的表演。从这次活动中我懂得很多，我相信成人仪式对我们非常重要，从那时起我们就知道了作为成年人的责任。
