　　Describe a party you attended. You should say:

　　What party it was.

　　Why the party was held.

　　Who attended the party?

　　What you did at that party.

　　a) If I had to describe a party I attended, I would mention my graduation party.

　　b) I am sure you will know what I am talking about.

　　a) The party was held to celebrate me and my friends graduating from high school.

　　b) That is to say, we were so happy to finish our twelve years of schooling that we had to celebrate in a big way.

　　a) Me and six of my friends attended the party.

　　b) In other words, it wasnt a very large party.

　　There are several reasons as for why I would like to talk about this party specifically. Allow me to explain by mentioning some of them briefly.

　　b) What I mean to say is that we were now moving from childhood into adulthood.

　　b) For instance, two of my friends where leaving a few days later to go and study in Australia.

　　a) Lastly, it was the first time that our parents allowed us to have a party on our own.

　　b) That is to say, before this party we always had to have a teacher or an adult supervising us. Now we were allowed to go out and have a good time on our own responsibility.
