雅思口语话题指导：信件(A letter)

　　Nowadays, people are so used to instant messaging and on-line chatting that we forget the happiness of writing someone a letter or receiving a letter from your friends. Even though hand-written mails takes more time and cost a little, theyre still more personal than E-mails.

　　人们现在实在是太依赖短信和在线聊天的交流方式,我们好像已经忘记了给别人写信和收到朋友的信件的时候的快乐. 虽然手写信更费时,还要交一点点邮费,它们比电子邮件还是私人亲和了许多啊.

　　I collect the letters I get from others. And recently, one of my students sent me a postcard from Germany. On the back of the card, she told me about her wonderful and exhilarating life in Germany as an one-year exchange student. She showed me the castle she was looking at back then when she sent the postcard out to me. I feel, despite the fact that we were thousands of miles away, at that moment, our worlds touched and became synchronized, all thanks to that little thing called postcard.

　　I was delighted to find that life in Germany has brought her much positive change. And I could not help wondering about my life in a different country and all the possibilities that come with it.

　　The letter/ postcard served more than a carrier of message, but more like an reinforcement for my faith of going abroad. I put it on my desk when it is easily seen as encouragement to my current endeavor.

　　这封明信片不仅仅完成了信息的传递,更坚定了我出国留学的信念. 我把它放在我的书桌上,随时都可以看看,鼓励自己为了出国的理想继续努力.

　　The next letter Im really looking forward to receiving is the admission letter from University.
