雅思口语话题：a piece of music

　　Speaking of a piece of music I like, the one that came into my mind is Do-Re-Mi. I believe that anyone who loves English has watched the movie The Sound of Music. In the movie, as a tutor, Maria planned to teach seven children the basic musical notes. Sitting on a grassland, Maria began to teach them how to sing while playing the guitar. The lyrics go like this:

　　Doe a deer, a female deer,

　　Ray a drop of golden sun,

　　Me a name I call myself,

　　Far a long, long way to run,

　　Sew a needle pulling thread,

　　La a note to follow sew,

　　Tea a drink with jam and bread.

　　And that will bring us back to

　　ohohoh!

　　It is very interesting. Because do and doe share the same pronunciation. The same as re and ray and others. In this song, seven notes are interpreted in a different way by Maria, thus it becomes very easy for children to remember. Actually, every simple thing can be meaningful as long as we put our minds in it.
