2016年正是民间流传的60年一遇的“火猴年”，券商跟风发布2016猴年风水投资观点。1月28日，中信里昂证券发布了一年一度的证券风水指数，预测即将到来的丙申“火猴年”香港股市走势、生肖运势等。

"Since the coming year is a 'fire monkey' year, there'll be conflicts and opportunities in the stock market, combined with ups and downs in the market just like the way monkeys behave," Cherry Ma, technology analyst at CLSA, said on Thursday.

中信里昂证券的技术分析师Cherry Ma 28日表示：“因为来年是‘火猴’年，股市有跌宕起伏也充满机遇，会像猴子一样‘上蹿下跳’。”

这份预测主要针对的是恒生指数（Hang Seng Index）。这份根据恒生指数的“八字”作出的风水预测称，灵猴将为“土鸡”——恒生指数保驾护航，令恒生指数今年有一个不错的开局（have a decent start），年中一度下探后再度上升（a mid-year downward swing and then a recovery）。

不但是黄金和白银，汽车、金融、博彩、交通运输和机械板块有望向好，油气、公用事业、科技、电信和互联网板块开年也将维持良好势头。但随着猴子进入第四季度开始乱窜，这些板块的表现将急转直下。
