我国股市拟引入“熔断机制”

为避免6月股灾惨剧重演，9月7日，上海证券交易所、深圳证券交易所和中国金融期货交易所发布关于就指数熔断机制(circuit-breaker mechanism)相关规定公开征求意见的通知。

Mainland bourses are contemplating the introduction of a circuit-breaker mechanism to arrest abnormal price swings on capital markets.

国内证交所正考虑引入熔断机制，以防范资本市场发生非正常价格波动。

什么是指数熔断机制?

The circuit-breaker mechanism refers to measures adopted by stock exchanges to temporarily halt trading to avert panic selling after the stock index has fallen a certain percentage.

熔断机制是指股指下跌一定比例后，证券交易所采取暂停交易以避免恐慌性抛售的措施。

Circuit-breakers will be triggered off if the market fluctuates 5 percent and 7 percent, according to the plan.

根据计划，如果市场涨跌波动达到5%和7%，将触发熔断机制。

业内人士表示，熔断机制的主要目的是给市场一个冷静期(cooling-off period)，让投资者充分消化市场信息(market information)，防止市场或某一产品非理性的大幅波动(fluctuations)，特别防止市场大幅下跌甚至发生股灾(stock market crash)，以维护市场的稳定。
