A roadmap for the future of manufacturing, the "Made in China 2025" plan, will be unveiled in the near future, an insider told Xinhua on Monday.

知情人士27日向新华社透露，“中国制造2025规划将于近期公布。“中国制造2025规划是中国未来制造业的发展蓝图。

"Made in China 2025" plan就是“中国制造2025规划。规划提出的10大重点发展领域包括new information technology(新一代信息通信技术产业)、high-end numerically-controlled machine tools and robotics(高档数控机床和机器人)、biological medicine(生物医药)等。

3月27日，工信部副部长苏波在国务院政策例行吹风会上透露，《中国制造2025规划》的总体思路是focus on the upgrading of the manufacturing sector to improve innovation ability(以促进制造业创新发展为主题，以提质增效为中心)，integrate informatization and industrialization(以加快新一代信息技术与制造业融合为主线)，focus on the development of fully-automated "smart" factories(以推进智能制造为主攻方向)。
