【迷你小对话1】

A: How was your talk with Sean?
B: Not good. He kept cutting me off and not letting me finish my sentences. Then, he left without saying goodbye. He was quite abrupt.

A: 你和Sean谈得怎么样？
B: 不怎么好。他总是打断我的话，不让我把话说完，然后连再见也没说就走了。太没礼貌了。

A: What was your impression of Jean?
B: She immediately started eating before anyone else and she spoke loudly and had poor manners. I thought she was a little bit boorish.

A: 你对Jean的印象怎么样？
B: 别人还没开吃呢，她自己就吃上了，说话声音太大，没有礼貌。我觉得她有点儿土里土气的。

【语言点精讲】

abrupt: （指行为等）唐突的，鲁莽的。
cut…off: 打断……的话。
impression of sb.: 对某人的印象。
boorish: 没有礼貌的；粗野的，土里土气的。
