【语言点精讲】

a fraidy cat: 胆小鬼，胆小怕事的人。fraidy，胆小的。
fighter: 战斗机。
pilot: 飞行员。
have ice in one’s veins: 字面意思是说在某人的血管里有冰雪。这个短语用来形容某人冷酷无情，或者个性强硬，仿佛血管里充满的是冷冰冰的冰雪，而不是温暖的血液。
