B: She loses it at every sudden noise and sits there shaking like a bowl of Jell-O when the plane takes off and lands.

A: Jane一听到坠机的事情就吓得汗毛直立。
B: 这就为什么她一坐飞机就紧张不安，吓得浑身僵冷。
A: 她吓得直冒冷汗，她老公之后握住她的手，怕她吓坏。

【语言点精讲】

one’s hair stands on end: 吓得汗毛直立。
uptight: 紧张不安的，神经过敏的。
freeze: 吓呆。
in a cold sweat: 由于惊吓或者害怕而出了一身的冷汗。sweat，汗。
freak out: 变得极其焦躁不安或吓得要死。
lose it: 这里指的是失掉了镇静，无法冷静下来。
shake like a bowl of Jell-O: 吓得抖个不停。Jell-O，果冻。
