韩国政府近日修订法律提高福利待遇,规定配偶的产假从无薪3天转为带薪3天,如有必要,最长可以请5天假,其中2天是无薪假。这意味着刚当爸爸的员工可以享受更多的“父亲假。

South Korea is set to allow up to five days of paternity leave starting next year, an attempt to raise the country's low birth rate, the labor ministry said Thursday.
韩国劳动部周四称,韩国将从明年开始将“父亲假延至五天,此举是为了提高韩国的低生育率。
上文报道中的paternity leave就是“父亲假,也就是男性在配偶产子后享受的假期。新规定执行后,韩国“父亲假将包括三天paid leave(带薪假)和两天unpaid leave(无薪假)。女性生了孩子后享受的“产假则称为maternity/maternal leave或baby break。
福利制度健全的企业除了会给员工产假外,还会有home leave(探亲假)、sick leave(病假)、annual leave(年假)、casual leave(事假)、marital leave(婚假),当然还有official holiday(法定节假日)。
