2020年5月14日，云南省怒江傈僳族自治州怒江新城城墙坝易地扶贫安置点棒球工厂的工人在制作棒球。“六保”，即保居民就业、保基本民生、保市场主体、保粮食能源安全、保产业链供应链稳定、保基层运转，在4月17日召开的中央政治局会议上首次提出。保居民就业，要抓好重点行业、重点人群就业工作，把高校毕业生就业作为重中之重，确保就业大局稳定。保基本民生，要切实做好民生保障工作，加大脱贫攻坚力度，复工复产中优先使用贫困地区劳动力，确保如期全面完成脱贫攻坚任务；要完善社会保障，做好低保工作，及时发放价格临时补贴，确保群众基本生活。保市场主体，着力帮扶中小企业渡过难关。保粮食能源安全，抓好农业生产和重要副食品保供稳价。保产业链供应链稳定，促进产业链协同复工复产达产。保基层运转，确保基层政府保基本民生、保工资、保运转。
