手上的动物园：艺术家徒手拟物 神情兼备栩栩如生[1]

Award-winning Italian artist Guido Daniele has an exceptional talent – he can transform human hands into ‘handimals’, hyper-realistic animal portraits.

意大利艺术家圭尼·达尼埃莱 With a career as an illustrator spanning over 40 years, Guido began to explore and experiment with body art and using the human body as a canvas in 1990. Gradually, he perfected the art of making his models contort their bodies into specific positions and using his painting skills to turn them into realistic portraits and scenes.

圭尼做过40多年的插画家，上世纪90年代，他开始对人体彩绘进行探索，并将人体当做“画布”进行创作。经过不断的摸索与完善，圭尼通过模特摆姿势与绘画技巧相结合的办法，塑造出形象逼真的肖像和场景。

In 2000, an art director asked him if he could paint animals on people’s hands without using photoshop. “After I tried doing it, I was the first one to be positively surprised with the beautiful result,” he said. “I did not know that a great artist from Florence, Mario Mariotti, did the same artistic research before me. From 2000 onwards, I began my research on the ‘Handimals’”.

2000年，一名艺术指导问他能不能不借助PS，在人手上绘出动物的形象。“一次尝试之后，我被这美丽的成品效果惊呆了。”他说，“我当时并不知道佛罗伦萨的艺术家马里奥·马里欧第 That same year, Guido released his world-famous ‘Handimals’ series, consisting of 77 highly detailed animals painted onto hands that were twisted and manipulated into various positions to form beaks, trunks, feathers, and more.

同年，圭尼发表的77幅“手势彩绘”系列组图使其扬名立万。图片中的人手扭转摆弄，最终在彩绘的配合下变成了动物的喙、躯干和羽毛等等。

Guido believes that his work is so well received because hands – after the face – are the most expressive part of the body. “So seeing hands transforming into so many different things, such as animals or natural environments, is something that surely fascinates people, both children and adults. I just look at my hands and try to imagine all different things and animals they could turn into.”

圭尼坚信他的作品会广受好评，因为手部是除面部外最有表现力的身体部位。“看到有手变化出的那么多不一样的东西，比如动物或者自然环境，无论对男女老少都是赏心悦事。我常常一边看着自己的手，一边试着去想象它们可以变成什么动物和自然生物。”

Guido revealed that he wanted to be an artist ever since elementary school. “I was only five years old when my teacher asked me to make a greeting card for the headmaster,” he recalled fondly. “It was obvious that I was the most creative and artistic child in the whole school, so after that episode all my classmates began to ask me to do their drawings and caricatures.”

圭尼还说，自己从小学起就想当一名艺术家。“当时我只有5岁，老师要求我给校长做一张手工问候卡，很明显，我是全校学生里最有艺术创造力的孩子。从那以后，我的同学们都来找我帮他们画画。”他自豪地说。

“I want to try to paint all what is possible to paint on hands and bodies: animals, flowers, materials, architectures, objects, cars, dreams,” he said. “Now I am 62 years old, I only have 20 years more to find my artistic visionary in this world, in this life. In my next life, I would like to be a doctor, surgeon, inventor, or scientist and do something to make the human life less suffering – build a better world.”

“只要能在人手和身体画出的东西，我都想画。无论是动物、鲜花、材料、建筑、物体、轿车，还是梦想。我现在已经62岁了，用来探求自己在这个世上的艺术梦想的时间只剩20年。到了来生，我希望自己是一名医生，外科医师，发明家或者科学家，尽一己之力减少人们生活的痛苦，让世界更美好。”

Guido, who now lives and works out of Milan, is often contracted by some of the world’s biggest advertising agencies – they regularly use photographs of his body art in various product endorsements. His work has also been used to help promote charities such as the WWF.
