全国人大代表、知名主持人曹可凡 To carry forward and develop traditional Chinese medical sciences, we need to make a comprehensive law specialized in this area. Some of the problems we are facing include lack of inheritance and innovation and the shortage of medicinal materials. In addition, the country needs to launch more incentive policies, including encouraging more graduates from traditional Chinese medicine schools to work at the grassroots level. Also, less than 6 percent of the country's hospitals are specialized in traditional Chinese medicine, which is not enough to take in a large number of graduates from TCM schools.
