一九三六年十月十九日上午五时二十五分，一个伟大的灵魂在上海大陆新村寓所停止思考，永远闭上了眼睛。然而——七十多年过去了，他的音容笑貌依然时常出现在人们眼前，人们无时无刻不沐浴在他思想的光辉里，无时无刻不会感受到他的存在。

他是个普普通通的小男孩，人们早已忘记了他的名字。

十二岁的他不幸身患绝症，将不久于人世了。然而在临终之际他却提出要把自己的角膜捐献给需要它的患者，“这样我就还能时刻看到你，妈妈”，他这样说服自己的妈妈。
