中学生打工利弊谈

中学生打工是一个很时尚的话题，关于其利大还是弊大的讨论也是仁者见仁，智者见智。我认为，打工对中学生是有益的，我赞成中学生打工。

社会是复杂残酷的，适者才能生存。每一位中学生将来都得溶入社会，而学校与社会是有差距的。要在社会中生存，并且是很好的生存下去，必须有一个适应。而简单的打工是中学生所处的年龄已经具备了的能力，又是一个很好的走进社会的途径，因此，中学生有能力也有必要适当地打一些工。

在许多国家，中学生打工都被视作一种理所当然的活动。我经常可以在外国作家的一些作品中看到送报送奶的少年，他们从父母那里得不到多少零用钱，却通过打工支付不少个人开支。我去年还看过一本叫《我家有个小鬼子》的书，是两位留学美国的中国人写自己在美国长大的孩子的故事的。书中讲到孩子“花钱靠自己”，看电影、买礼物送人、买书都是自己掏钱。钱从哪儿来呢？就是通过除草浇花、卖糖果、洗车等手段打工挣来的。

我们经常听到中国的留学生到了国外，因为空有满腹理论知识而没有社会实践能力遭人鄙视的事件。这是与外国家庭从小让孩子打工，参与社会实践活动分不开的。可见，中学生打工是有益的。

《中国青年报》也曾刊登过一则关于某些大学生缺乏实践、交往能力以致求职应聘时屡屡碰壁，最后唯有选择重新读技校，以求通过学一门技能寻找出路的资讯调查。设想这些大学生们如果在中学阶段便打一些工，恐怕就不会有上述的尴尬了。

当然打工也不总是好事。从媒体的报道上看到，一是某些中学生的方向不对，打工就是为了赚钱；二是某些学生急功近利，搞坏了身体；三是某些学生在打工过程中上当受骗，跳入了“火坑”。相关的实例在各种媒体上比比皆是。

但是，我们不能因为这些弊端就对打工一概否认。我认为，只要明确目的，充分准备，加强警惕，并注意工作的度，打工对中学生就大有裨益了。

However, we can't deny all the disadvantages. In my opinion, as long as we have a clear purpose, make full preparation, strengthen our vigilance and pay attention to the degree of work, working for middle school students will be of great benefit.
