夫子庙的夏夜

上海有一座城隍庙，它坐落在着名的豫园，我去过好多次。南京有一座夫子庙，却是第一次去。

There is a Town God's Temple in Shanghai, which is located in the famous Yu Garden. I have been there many times. There is a Confucius Temple in Nanjing, but it's the first time.

今年暑假，爸爸妈妈带我去了南京。爸爸说：“夫子庙晚上去才好看！”于是，我们选了一个傍晚，来到了历史悠久的夫子庙。从“状元楼”入口，我们走在了夫子庙的一条古香古色的商业街上，窄窄的马路两旁是一家紧挨一家、各具特色的商店。天色渐渐暗下来了，每家商店的屋檐下，亮起了一盏盏大红的灯笼，金黄色的霓虹灯勾画出每座仿古建筑的轮廓，给夫子庙增添了节日气氛。爸爸说：“夫子庙天天都在过节，欢迎着中外游客。”

This summer vacation, my parents took me to Nanjing. Dad said, "it's nice to go to the Confucius Temple in the evening!" So we chose an evening and came to the temple of Confucius with a long history. From the entrance of "Zhuangyuan building", we walked in an antique commercial street of Confucius Temple. On both sides of the narrow road is a store close to each other with its own characteristics. The sky gradually darkened. Under the eaves of each shop, a bright red lantern was lit. The golden neon lights outlined the outline of each antique building, adding a festive atmosphere to the Confucius Temple. Father said: "Confucius Temple is celebrating every day, and welcomes Chinese and foreign tourists."

不知不觉，我们来到了秦淮河。河的南岸有一块巨大的照壁，照壁上“秦淮人家”四个大字倒映在静静的水面上，更增添了夫子庙的独特风情。河上有一艘艘脚踏的、电动的游船，还有一只只用半透明塑料制成的兔子灯，浮在水面上，用来点缀秦淮河；河对岸，是一幢幢明代建筑风格的民宅。

Unconsciously, we came to Qinhuai River. On the South Bank of the river, there is a huge screen wall. On the screen wall, the four characters of "Qinhuai family" are reflected on the quiet water surface, adding to the unique style of Confucius Temple. On the river, there is a foot pedal, electric cruise ship, and a rabbit lamp made of translucent plastic. It floats on the water surface to decorate the Qinhuai River. On the other side of the river, there are many residential buildings in the architectural style of Ming Dynasty.

我们租了一艘游船，在秦淮河上荡漾了半小时。不知不觉，肚子饿了，我们来到了幽雅的“香君酒店”。酒店很具特色：窗是细木格子，桌椅是红木的，服务员小姐都穿着漂亮的“古装”。一家三口人只需花上100元，就能品尝十几道小吃。我们一坐下，服务员小姐就端来了“雨花茶”，递给我一本厚厚的菜谱。

We rented a boat and spent half an hour on the Qinhuai River. Unconsciously, hungry, we came to the elegant "Xiangjun Hotel". The hotel is very special: the windows are made of fine wood lattice, the tables and chairs are made of mahogany, and the waitresses are all dressed in beautiful "ancient clothes". A family of three people can taste more than ten snacks for only 100 yuan. As soon as we sat down, the waitress brought me "Yuhua tea" and handed me a thick recipe.

“这么多菜！我们肯定吃不了。”爸爸惊叹道。

"So many dishes! We can't eat it. " Dad exclaimed.

“少点些菜吧！”妈妈提议，“请给我们介绍一下。”

"Order less!" Mother suggested, "please introduce it to us."

小姐一一介绍起来：“盐水鸭是南京特产，菊花脑在上海很难吃到，来一盘吧……”这样，我们足足点了15种小吃！

Miss one by one introduced: "salted duck is a specialty of Nanjing, chrysanthemum brain is hard to eat in Shanghai, please have a plate..." In this way, we ordered 15 kinds of snacks!

一会儿，节目表演开始，首先是民族舞蹈《江南美》，只见三位小姐手拿一块红色手帕，欢快的音乐一响起，她们翩翩起舞，宛如三只蝴蝶在花丛中飞舞……当舞蹈结束时，喝彩声和掌声响成一片！

After a while, the performance began with the folk dance "Jiangnan beauty". I saw three young ladies holding a red handkerchief. As soon as the joyful music started, they danced like three butterflies flying in the flowers When the dance is over, cheers and applause come together!

哦，夫子庙的夏夜，真叫我难忘。

Oh, the summer night in Confucius Temple is unforgettable.
