国内英语资讯:Senior CPC official meets Russian Communist delegation

BEIJING, Dec. 4 -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Zhao Leji on Wednesday met with a delegation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation led by Gennady Zyuganov, leader of the party.

Underlining the two countries' comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination in the new era, Zhao, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said China is willing to work with Russia to enhance political mutual trust while continuously expanding and deepening pragmatic cooperation.

Zhao, also head of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, said the CPC hopes to increase exchanges with the Communist Party of Russia in fields such as party building and anti-corruption.

He expressed the hope that the construction of a new type of party relationship will make greater contributions to the development of China-Russia relations in the new era.
