Autumn weariness 秋乏

There is a saying that, "People tend to feel sleepy in spring, doze in summer and feel tired in autumn." As the weather becomes cool during End of Heat, many people will feel languid and weary, which is called "autumn weariness". It is a sign that the human body needs rest, since people have consumed excessive energy in the summer. Get enough sleep, do more exercises and keep plants indoor to help.

俗话说：春困秋乏夏打盹。进入处暑，随着天气渐渐变得凉爽，许多人会感到精神不振，浑身乏力，这就叫“秋乏”。这是身体在发出信号，因为人们在夏天消耗了太多的能量，所以现在身体需要休息。保证充足的睡眠、增加锻炼，以及在室内放置绿色植物可以缓解“秋乏”。

Eating Duck 吃鸭肉

Duck has a sweet flavor and according to Chinese traditional medicine it has a "cool" nature. A folk tradition is to eat duck during the End of Heat period. There are many recipes for cooking duck such as roast duck, cooked duck with lemon, smoked duck and sautéed duck with ginger shoots.

鸭肉味甘，而且中医认为鸭肉属寒性食物。处暑时节吃鸭肉是民间的一种传统。鸭肉的烹饪方法多种多样，有烤鸭、柠檬鸭、熏鸭、子姜鸭等。

The Fishing Season Festival 捕鱼节

For fishermen, the End of Heat is a season of harvest. During this period, the Fishing Season Festival is held in regions along the coastline of the East China Sea in Zhejiang province. People can enjoy many kinds of seafood during this period.

对渔民来说，处暑就是收获的时节。到了处暑节气，浙江一些沿海地区会举办捕鱼节。人们在这个时节可以吃到各种各样的海鲜。

End of Heat begins this year on Aug 23 and ends on Sep 6.

今年的处暑时间是8月23日到9月6日。
