海关查获大量走私“僵尸肉”

近日，海关总署查处走私冻品货价超30亿元，包括冻鸡翅、冻牛肉等副产品10余万吨，甚至有40年的陈年“僵尸肉”。

Media reports say General Administration of Customs officials seized more than 100,000 tons of "zombie meat", long-expired frozen meat products including chicken wings and beef, worth more than 3 billion yuan. Some of the meat had been frozen for more than 40 years.

据媒体报道，海关总署官员近日查扣10万余吨“僵尸肉”，即冻鸡翅、冻牛肉等早已过的冷冻肉产品，总价值逾30亿元人民币。其中部分肉冷冻超过40年。

“僵尸肉”（zombie meat / long-expired frozen meat products）指冰冻多年销往市场的冻肉，多为来自美国和欧洲国家的走私品，最终流向二三线城市的小餐馆（small restaurants）、路边摊（sidewalk snack booths）。常见的走私路径是，走私人员（smugglers）从境外以低价采购冻品（purchase the frozen meat for very low prices）并用冷藏集装箱（in refrigerated containers）发至香港，之后再发往越南。在中越边境（border areas）芒街等地拆解（consignments are divided up ）后，再雇人以“蚂蚁搬家”的方式将冻品运到境内。

为了牟利，境内外相关人员互相勾结（collude with their associates），形成从供货（offering supplies）、走私（smuggling）、运输（transportation）、储藏（storage）、加工（manufacturing）和销售（sales）的隐秘的“一条龙”服务（form a complete and secret supply chain）。
