老年人婚姻遭遇“退休之痒”

年轻人的婚姻有“七年之痒”，近年来，中国老年人的婚姻也遭遇“退休之痒”。

As younger couples experience the seven-year itch in China, a "retirement itch" is emerging among the country's elderly, with studies finding that the first 10 years after retirement is the most dangerous period and often ends in divorce, the Overseas Edition of the People's Daily reported on June 26 .

据《人民日报海外版》6月26日报道，年轻人的婚姻有“七年之痒”，近日调查发现，老年人的婚姻也遭遇“退休之痒”。退休后的前十年成为老年人婚姻亮红灯的危险时期，很多人都以离婚告终。

“退休之痒”我们可以用retirement itch表示，用来形容退休后的老年人婚姻亮红灯的现象。我们知道年轻人的婚姻有七年之痒（the seven-year itch），它是个舶来词，源于20世纪50年代玛丽莲•梦露主演的一部电影，描述夫妻在结婚七年后开始禁不住外面的诱惑。Itch在这里作名词用，意为“痒”，它还有“渴望”的意思，如，Kathy has an itch to travel.（凯茜渴望出去旅行。）

相关调查显示，老年人离婚案件中再婚家庭离婚比重大。再婚老人由于感情基础不牢（ lack of a firm emotional bond）、财产问题（financial disputes）、子女反对（children's opposition）等种种原因，一方或双方退休后，离婚率居高不下。

此外，一些媒体调查发现，各地“退休离”（post-retirement divorces）还存在一些类似的地方，例如离婚多由女方提出；离婚者大多经济状况较好（financially well-off）；多为空巢老人（empty-nester）等。
