国内英语资讯:China publishes book of Xis remarks on construction of socialist society

BEIJING, Oct. 8 -- A book of selections from Chinese President Xi Jinping's comments and writings on the construction of socialist society has been published by the Central Party Literature Press.

The 326 selections were extracted from 140 speeches, instructions, congratulatory letters and other sources dating from Nov. 15, 2017 to Sept. 19, 2017.

The book has nine sections, which include developing social justice for the people to share the results of reform and development, establishing a fairer and more sustainable social security system, promoting health care, safeguarding public security and social stability, and building a national security system with Chinese characteristics.

Some of the selections are published for the first time.
