国际英语资讯:Iran vows to keep supporting Palestinian cause: FM

TEHRAN, Dec. 23 -- Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said on Sunday that supporting the Palestinian cause is one of the principle policies of the country, official IRNA news agency reported.

"Unfortunately, counter measures to the (Palestinian) resistance movement take place from the Muslim world today," Zarif said in a meeting with a visiting delegation of the Islamic Hamas movement.

Zarif urged the Muslim countries to set aside differences and unite when it comes to the issue of Palestine.

"Supporting Palestine is a principle policy of the Islamic republic," Zarif stressed.
